Rite of Christian Initiation

Rite of Christian Initiation (RCI) – This is the process by which the Catholic Church warmly welcomes new members.  It is an ongoing process with the help of the pastor and laity with information presented to those interested in becoming Catholic.  Those who choose to continue and complete the initiation process do so by receiving the sacraments during the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday.  RCI is also for active Catholics who serve as catechists, sponsors or help as part of the RCI staff.  RCI meets on Sunday mornings.

A list of topics and dates they are presented follows.  The textbook, This Is Our Faith, is used to help facilitate each catechetical session.

This year we celebrated the Rite of Reception and welcomed into the Church four new members
